The session on ‘Therapeutic Value of Bhanga’ expressed confidence in the wisdom of classical Ayurvedic formulations where mentions of ‘Bhanga’ (a formulation containing cannabis sativa extracts) find themselves among other plant-based extracts to eliminate the root cause of diseases. A consensus began to emerge about the need to spend more time in educating the general public and doctors alike about the immense benefits of ancient, classical, plant-based medicines merged with modern medicinal development based on scientific principles.

A renowned Cannabis activist , Mr. Chidambaram Subramanian delivered a personal note to the audience about his tryst with using Cannabis oil for his severe knee pain.
